Send Payment Requests¶
Payment Requests are for situations where you have agreed the amount, but the customer is not standing in front of you.
In Get Paid, you can create a request from your phone. The customer receives it in Vipps or MobilePay, reviews the amount, and pays in the app.
When to use it¶
- A customer orders by phone or message.
- You need a deposit before work starts.
- A service is paid after the appointment.
- A booking, cancellation, or outstanding amount needs follow-up.
If the customer is with you, quick in-person payment or Shopping Basket is usually simpler.
How it works¶
- Open Get Paid and choose the right sales unit.
- Click the Get Paid button from the sales flow.
- Enter the amount and a description if you want.
- Choose Payment Request
- Enter customer phone number
- Send the request and follow its status in Get Paid.
Important¶
You must have the customer's phone number with their consent before sending a Payment Request. If you use Payment Requests for online sales, terms of sale and other rules may apply.
