Take quick in-person payments¶
Use Get Paid for in-person payments when the customer is with you and the total is ready.
Open Amount is best when the total changes from sale to sale. Card payment is useful when the customer does not use Vipps or MobilePay. If you have a fixed product list, Shopping Basket gives you a more structured checkout flow.
Choose the right flow¶
| Situation | Use |
|---|---|
| The total changes each time | Open Amount |
| The customer wants to pay by card | Card payment in Get Paid |
| The customer can scan and pay themselves | QR payment |
| Staff need to add fixed products first | Shopping Basket |
How it works¶
- Open Get Paid and choose the right sales unit.
- Enter or confirm the amount the customer should pay.
- Choose the payment method that fits the customer.
- Let the customer pay by scanning, approving in the app, or tapping their card.
- Check the completed payment in the transaction overview.
Good uses¶
- Tips, donations, and pay-what-you-want payments.
- Custom quotes or services where the total is agreed on the spot.
- Small counters, stands, and mobile sales where a separate terminal is too much.
- Backup payment flow when a customer cannot use Vipps or MobilePay.
